With Maintenance Partner, your organization can become mobile, not to mention paperless. Utilizing handheld devices with Pocket PC technology, mobileMP enables technicians to enhance their productivity. Maintenance Partner offers all the benefits of this technology on any handheld device that incorporates Pocket PC.

With MobileMP, you can use bar code technology so technicians can quickly scan areas, assets, or parts while using this proven technology to increase efficiency and accuracy. When Technicians use a handheld device, they can:

• Collect data and upload results for equipment, area, and parts to the Maintenance Partner database.
• Download/upload work orders to and from the Maintenance Partner database and the handheld device.
• Upload work, labor, and materials from the handheld device.
• Update all lookup data on the handheld device.
• Upload inventory records of spaces and equipment.
• Create new work orders from the handheld device while performing building inspections.
• Issue parts using the handheld device and upload all data at the end of the day.
• Bar code with appropriate handheld devices such as Symbol.
• Display PM features.

Please note that this module does require you to download and install a small program on the computer where you sync your Pocket PC.  Requirements are noted below.

Minimum Processor Requirements

• 200 MHz processor *
• 64 MB

* Performance may vary from model to model regardless of Processor speed.

Recommended

• 400 MHz processor or greater **
• Memory: 64 MB

NOTE: Loading other applications or games causes memory issues.

System Requirements

• .NET 2.0 Framework installed on Desktop

** Maintenance Partner will function on hardware with lower requirements than presented; however, unacceptable performance degradation may occur.

Important: Many Pocket PC devices do not meet the MobileMP requirements. Only certain devices having a rectangular screen with portrait orientation are supported.

However, additional requirements must be met, including operating system version. The devices listed below have been tested by Maintenance Partner, LLC. While Maintenance Partner does not recommend any particular device, the devices listed below are known to be compatible with MobileMP. Also, except for MobileMP compatibility with the device/operating system combination listed, Maintenance Partner neither represents nor makes any recommendations or representations about any device or its functionality or lack thereof.
